ISLAMABAD: Former Special Assistant to Prime Minister (PM) on Foreign affairs Tariq Fatemi while rejecting all the allegations leveled against him has said that these allegations are painful for a person who has served the country for five years.
In his letter written to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday he termed all allegations leveled against him as baseless. He has written in the letter, “I am ready for every type of cooperation with regard to allegations leveled against me but leveling such allegations against me after serving the country for five years are painful to me.
He further added his relationship with Pakistan and diplomacy will remain forever. “I have remained diplomat prior to this government. I have been and will continue to serve the country in future.
