KHAIRPUR: At least five people died and four got injured in a road accident near Shahpur Jahania on Wednesday night. According to details, a trawler was over turned on two cars at national highway near Shah Pur Jahania which resulted in the death of five people on the spot while four received severe injuries. The injured were brought to hospitals at Moro and Nawab Shah in critical condition. The dead were identified as Muhammad Afzal Laghari, Liaqat Ali, Sardar Ali, Muhammad Hashim, and Leghari Khan. The cause of the accident was over speed. The driver of the trawler managed to escape while Moro police took the trawler into custody and lodged a case against the driver.
