MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered to enhance anti-terrorism ties with Pakistan.
The Kremlin released a statement regarding the Quetta carnage – in which 61 officials were killed and 117 were wounded.
“The Russian head of state expressed confidence that the masterminds and performers of this barbaric crime will be punished and reiterated Moscow’s readiness to further enhance anti-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan,” the Kremlin’s statement said.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson – Nafees Zakaria – shared the details in which he highlighted Putin’s condolences with Pakistan’s president and the prime minister on the tragic Quetta attack.
Putin expressed confidence that plotters and executors of barbaric crime will be brought to justice and sympathised with the families and loved ones of those killed in the attack and wished speedy recovery to injured.
